Nyan Dash

Neat! I finished a new drawing and my first playthrough of Borderlands 2 on the same day. What a coincidence (in that I suddenly have time to focus now that the game isn't constantly tugging at the back of my mind).

This drawing was originally just going to be one girl being mischievous. The first sketch I did has her running in the opposite direction. I couldn't think of what color to make the paint so I decided to use all of them.

That's when I thought, "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if she was trying to recreate Nyan Cat?" So I flipped her around. As I started working out the details I started thinking, "You know who else leaves a trail of rainbows? Rainbow Dash!"

I think most MLP fans can figure out where my brain went from there.

Pinkie Pie had a little drum at first, but I inexplicably decided to make things complicated for myself. A keytar makes more sense anyway considering the song she has to play.

I figured I could use this as a wallpaper to replace the old one I made for myself. Yeah I'm making my own wallpapers ~_^
