Talk like Zecora? I can't do that. I don't have enough talent under my hat.
That first attempt was pretty sweet. If I did it again, it'd be a treat!
I can keep this up for a minute or three. But to go a full day? I disagree.
It's quite taxing to think in rhyme. I can't possibly do it all the time.
Uh oh, now I just can't stop trying. If I don't rhyme, I end up crying.
Anyway, I'm off to bed. That should clear the rhymes from my head!

Request bucket
Closed: See update here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello! I keep saying I only do requests on stream, but I never stream any more because I never have time. Almost all of the drawings I've done in the past couple weeks has been something I worked on little by little whenever I had about 30 minutes to spare. So as a compromise I'll allow this journal to act as a request bucket. If you want to request a drawing, comment here. I'll keep a running list until October 20th, 2023. If you happen to see this post after that date, you'll have to wait until I do this again. A few rules to keep in mind since I'm still short on time: - Just one character - Keep it safe for work - Don't expect it to be finished on time - No animations - If it's an OC, please provide a color palette That's about it. You can also let me know if you want to use the drawing as an emote, pfp, wallpaper, or something and I'll try to work with that.
Games
Armored Core 6 came out today and I'm happy to see it getting mostly good reviews. A lot of the bad reviews are mainly due to performance issues. It's a pretty good sign that the game itself is pretty good. I don't think I'll be buying it though because I'm unable to split my time between gaming and drawing. I'm just glad the franchise is still doing well. I played a lot of the early games back when people felt it was too clunky and complicated to be fun. I haven't finished a drawing since Remnant 2 came out. Every time I sit down at my PC I just want to try creating a new build that I haven't seen online yet. The shine is starting to wear off as I get more used to the hardest difficulty. But there's still nothing like the rush of beating a boss that beat you down so many times. Anyway, I feel like I can get back to my normal drawing schedule soon... But Armored Core 6 does look really good.
Is A.I. art a toy or a tool?
A few streams ago I brought up a situation that I couldn't really find a satisfactory answer to. Imagine you're on the jury of a civil case. The reason for the trial is a book publisher used A.I. art as the cover for a bestselling book. The art is in the distinct style of a well-known artist. That artist has decided to sue the publisher. Who do would you side with? The publisher because the A.I. art doesn't actually contain anything created by the artist and the artist had no input as to how the cover should look? Or do you side with the artist because the A.I. used their past work to create a look that resembles their distinct style? I feel like if you ask enough people, you'd find answers on both sides. But in the case of the law, there has to be a definite answer. Is art drawn by a computer something different and unique created by an algorithm, or is it just the amalgam of other peoples' work forced through a filter and repaired to look presentable? I don't want to dismiss
How to get requests - an FAQ
Hello! It's that time of the year when I'm getting questions about doing art trades and requests so here's a journal to answer all your questions that I think people might want to know the answers to. Do you do commissions/requests/art trades? I don't do commissions as I don't really have the time and I don't need the money. For requests or art trades, you'd have to catch me while I'm streaming. You don't have to stay for the whole stream, but I'll only consider requests made on chat. When do you stream? Unfortunately, I'm unable to put together a definite schedule. I try my best to stream every day after I get home from work. I can't always get online every night. I have more time on the weekends though. I can usually be found after 6:30pm PST. Keep in mind, you can only ask for art during an art stream. Sorry, if I'm doing something else, but I like doing other things too. What can I ask for? You can ask for up to two characters doing something. Whether or not there would be a

Me, I only 'Zecora-speak' online.
I know rhyme problems can't only be mine!
But it's been fun posting everything in meter,
and then finding friends, and then trying to beat her!
(Beating my z-speaking friends,
not Zecora, of all ends.)
Happy TLZ-day!
And until next year, hey!
